Michael Patrick Roman
Adjunct Associate Professor in the Pratt School of Engineering
Dr. Michael Roman earned his BS in Physics with honors from Wake Forest University and a Ph.D. from North Carolina State University. With over 15 years in cybersecurity, defense, and advanced concept development, he currently serves as the Executive Director at MAXISIQ, leading the Research and Engineering Division. This team specializes in AI, cryptography, advanced networking, and software engineering, providing innovative cybersecurity and communication solutions. In addition, Dr. Roman is an Adjunct Professor at Duke University's Pratt School of Engineering, teaching a master's course on AI in cybersecurity.
